A timeline of selflessness, devotion, and absolute surrender in service of the divine and humanity.
Spiritual Descent
Born on September 6 in Jasdan, Gujarat to Kanjibhai and Kunvarba. Named 'Hari' in a deeply devout family.
Early Devotion
At age 15, following his father's demise, he read the entire Bhagavat Gita to console his mother. He immersed his father's ashes in the local Ghela River, treating it as the holy Ganges due to modest means.
The Agarbatti Seva
Moved to Nagpur to join his brothers in the incense sticks (agarbatti) business, turning the workplace into a temple of bhajan and chanting. He took initiation (diksha) from Guru Naju Bapa in Jasdan.
Nagpur Annakshetra
Began daily food service (Sadavrat) in Gandhibagh, Nagpur ('Shree Ganesh Niwas'). He would cook meals himself and distribute them on a bicycle to feeding spots and Jagnath temple.
Akhand Ram Dhun
Established continuous chanting (Akhand Ram Dhun) in Jasdan on Hanuman Jayanti, later expanding it to Jalaram Mandir in Nagpur in 1983.
Renunciation
Surrendered his family house, shop, and savings to the trust, spending the next 14 years traveling to holy sites across India as a wandering pilgrim.
